Though beautiful rentals and unique lodging experiences are prolific, many are looking for something deeper.  A chance to slow down, rest, let go of devices and schedules that seem to demand ever more precious time.  A chance to reconnect with nature, oneself, or one’s partner.  In a word, intention; space expressly designed to help weary travelers quiet the noise and touch deeper rhythms of nature and spirit.  Since 2011, this has been our abiding passion and calling.

The Details

  • Our current rate is $250 a night for one or two adults. Each extra person over the age of 12 is an additional $30 a night. Children ages 5 to 12 are an additional $15 a night, and children under the age of 5 are free. A one time cleaning fee of $50 is added to each stay.

  • The casita is amply stocked to make your own meals during a stay. We offer DINNERS on Friday and Saturday evenings for an additional cost of $35 per person. Our retreat and elopement packages also include dinner options.

  • Desert Harbor is at the end of a 4.5 mile gravel road. It is generally well-maintained, but during summer monsoon rains and winter snow storms, drivng a 4wd or AWD vehicle is a good idea. When this isn’t possible and weather presents challenges, we are happy to meet guests where the paved road turns to gravel. Being in the country, there are no street lights at night, so for our city dwellers it can seem very dark.

  • Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. A deposit is required to reserve the guest cottage. If you cancel within three weeks of your stay, your deposit will be refunded in full.
